VANITIES & SMALL PIECES

Start with the shape
your project needs.

A vanity top or smaller piece needs its own plan. Start with the finished size, sink details and the work you need.

Sketch the finished piece.

Draw the longest dimensions, corners, openings and visible edges. For a vanity, include the sink, faucet openings and any backsplash. Note whether you need pickup, delivery or installation.

Keep the material details together.

If you are matching an existing surface, record its known product name, manufacturer or code. Keep a photo with your notes. Granite, quartz and quartzite need their own identification and suitability check.

Check whether the piece will fit.

Usable dimensions, defects, stone direction and planned cuts can affect fit. Ask for a current piece check and a clear record of how it is approved and held.

Ask for the complete price.

Material, fabrication, edges, cutouts and pickup, delivery or installation should appear in the quote. Ask about minimum charges and who handles measurement, removal and plumbing.

Flag work that needs a closer look.

Customer-owned stone, matching extensions, repairs, outdoor use and support questions need professional review before a piece is selected.
